when i was still in L.B. (los banos), my brods used to fondly call us (my friends and i) the “squirtles”. i’m not exactly sure how the name came to be — only george and yamo knew the real story behind it.

perhaps it had something to do with the fact that we used to hang out at an internet cafe, just across our dorm, and starcraft gaming was in boom at the time. all i know is that they initially dubbed us as the “zerglings” then it somehow evolved to the “squirtles”.

since my mind sometimes works like a movie (or tv show) trailer, i can’t help but associate a song to every period in my life ~ more like an OST, i guess. and for both the happy and sad times i’ve spent with the Squirtles, this one song somehow encapsulates it all. ^_^
